Hello, dear conscious parent 💟!
Hello and Happy International Women’s Day – March 8!
Growing up in Eastern Europe, March 8 has a very special place in my heart because we celebrated our mothers, grandmothers, aunts and sisters on this day. I remember making cards for my mother and writing poems for her as a little girl 💌
If you are a woman, I invite you to celebrate yourself today, and every day, using these 4 powerful tools, my 4S’s:
SELF-TALK: pay attention to the words you’re telling yourself when nobody listens; is your ‘critical inner voice’ louder than a megaphone? learn to carry a dialogue with the self- critic, acknowledge it and then step into your adult confidence; are you swimming in guilt and shame? learn to ask for help and heal “the shame that binds you”;
SELF- COMPASSION: make a habit of actively showing kindness to yourself at least once a day, even in the smallest way; remember that you’re sharing your pain and suffering with the rest of the humanity; you’re not alone; allow your thoughts to come and go without believing them or clinging to them by taking on the role of the Observer;
SELF-CARE: whatever self-care means to you, implement it!; this is your #1 priority so you can have the resources to give to others; ask yourself: What gives me pleasure? What replenishes my energy levels? How do I take care of myself physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially? all these aspects are equally important;
SELF-EXPRESSION: where is your Creative Genius showing up? is it in writing, speaking, cooking, coaching, designing, painting, dancing, singing, teaching, consulting, inspiring others? Wherever your creativity takes form, that’s where you most probably find meaning and purpose to your life because it comes effortlessly and organically. Remember that you are a vessel for that art form and that the world needs it. Don’t give up on it.
